"The owners of this Dairy Queen are extremely nice and personable. I’ve always loved coming here. However, over the past few months when visiting I’ve noticed that some of the employees are less than thrilled to be working there. Tonight was the worst experience I’ve had there. While at the window waiting I saw an employee pull our brownie out of the microwave without using gloves or washing her hands first. Immediately after removing it from the microwave she stuck her hand down in her pocket and got her phone out and was scrolling. The lady with pink hair who took our order kept rushing us and was very short and snippy. When we paid her at the window she said at least four times how she was ready to go home and even asked us what time it was. I thought it was very rude; she wasn’t nice at all."

"Place is permanently closed. I went by a few days ago and saw fire damage on one side of building. Restaurant looked like no one had been inside in awhile. So I called the phone number today and got a recording that said. Sorry, due to a fire, we are no longer open. Thanks for your support."

"We asked a local resident to recommend a good lunch spot on a Saturday and she said Steve's place for their fried chicken. Our waitress said they had menu items too but we opted for the buffet. Everything was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Fried chicken, beef tips, rice, potatoes, green beans, and black eyed peas. I especially loved the fried corn nuggets. Hubby didn't like those said they were too sweet. Desserts were tasty and homemade. Friendly service."
