"It’s such a shame. The food was great, although menu a little limited on choice. The ambience is totally lacking. Essentially a silent dining room. It lacks warmth and yet the team are perfectly polite, but transactional. Service without the hospitality if you will. No leadership evident. It kind of snatches defeat from the jaws of victory. For the prices charged you should expect much better. Needs a full review, because I’ve no doubt they’re not making the money they want or need to."

"I mentioned that it was my friends Birthday on the booking and unprompted they put a candle in her dessert and sang happy birthday which was a lovely touch. The food was lovely as always and the service great."
