"Those will be two reviews. Die Gute Botschaft opened as a lunch restaurant. As such, I can recommend it--a small menu, a huge salad bar, fast and attentive service. Nothing unusual, but a good place to have a fast business lunch.. unless you plan to...discuss serious business matters, because guest are placed on larger tables, thus neighbours might overhear your conversation. Recently, Die Gute Botschaft is also serving dinner in the evening. The concept is a crossover of Japanese and Northern German cuisine. The food is tasty, but nothing unusual, some dishes aim more to impress the guests than to deliver tasty food. Also, the pricing in hefty. Although the room is re-arranged for dinner, the atmosphere is rather cold and can not hide being a canteen during the day. (The pictures are from an evening dinner) Summary: worth a visit for lunch. For dinner it can only be recommended if you do not mind the cheque and you want to impress your guests with playful dishes rather than good cooking. The service, however, is always good."
