"Love Lebanese food and decided on Saturday to go to Basha rather than the Lebanese Festival. It was a wise choice. The shawarma platter is excellent. In fact I went back this evening because it was too hot to cook. Was not disappointed. In fact, is now my go to for Lebanese food. Don't know what they do to the onions but they're spectacular."

"My wife and I had supper here this evening. It was a crazy hot day in Halifax and luckily this place has AC. We started with the Meze sampler which was stellar. Each dish was flavourful and unique. The pita were not that great but as a whole we were pleased with the starter. My wife had the chicken special and I went with the lamb. Both meals were well portioned and consisted of a side of Turkish green salad, rice, and the meat. The service was great and each of the young ladies working was friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and will happily return the next time we are in Halifax."

"Very disappointed. Was told the food was to die for, it was far from. Spent $53 for 2 meals with mozza sticks and shakes. I got the crispy chicken, it was basicly glorified mcdonalds. My girlfriend got the charger and the most she could say was it 's okay . To top it off the mozza sticks were little nubs, an inch long at best. For the price definitely not worth it."

"Naan is the best we’ve had in Halifax, especially since it was warm even for a delivery. Butter chicken and Chana Masala were also flavourful and came in round containers that were also warm. Veggie rice was very colourful and vegetables were included on the inside. Overall, food was filling, tasty, and had beautiful presentation for a delivered meal. Would come back again."

"I stopped in here on my way to the Farmers Market at the seaport to see what it was like as a potential for someplace to eat lunch. There is a relatively small dining area, but the woman was so welcoming I decided to stay. I had the chicken with rice and charboiled tomato with a dish of hot sauce on the side. The meal was very tasty and overall a pleasant dining experience. It is like eating a home cooked meal in someone's kitchen."

"Amazing! I will speak for the items I tried. This is the place to be if you want good ramen and sushi. I have eat a LOT of sushi in my life at a lot of locations coast to coast. This was surely the freshest fish I have ever tasted. Will never buy sushi anywhere else. Their Ramen was also to the point. Yummm! I would highly reccomend you give it a try!"

"Shawarma chicken was over cooked and hard like rock i went to inform the person at the front desk and he was shock like he didn’t know anything i show him that hard chicken and he did nothing. Really disappointed and wastage of money. NOT RECOMMENDED."

"Tasty, mouth-watering Middle Eastern dishes are the speciality at Chef Abod. The desserts are spectacular and the food is always delicious and fresh and enhanced by the Chef's use of original spices! Food catered by Chef Abod is just as good as items served in the restaurant. Definitely worth a night out!"

"My wife and I loved eating here. we have tried Lebanon food before, but this tasted really authentic and tasteful. the decor and ambiente was also very beautiful with the feeling of traditional liban culture. we had an amazing time with our friends here with chef abod's warm hospitality that added the whole charm of the place. highly recommended."
