"Arrived at the correct address and decided that the car park was too muddy, slippery and not suitable to walk to the main building if this was the "Inviting Entrance" to the Brewery I decided I could go elsewhere. There was no other cars in the car park and I decided that was a good assumption NOT to waste time further. The place needs much help to attract the tourist."

"The best chicken chip shop in goulburn, and one must be every time I'm in town. besides the basics, it is also for roasting, burger and the natives tell me that it also offers small functions. as they can see from the photos, it is absolutely huge inside, so sitting is never a problem. highly recommended."

"We travel constantly and look for cheap motels, as most stays are only one night. we have booked a superior room in the lilac city motel and in the Steak house and while the room was bright and clean, I wouldn't have it as superior discribe...but at $129 it was worth it. I hesitate to think how the less than superior rooms may. under the dash, this motel flatters like ok. the adjacent steakhouse is however a great distraction. the motel and steakhouse must have a good contract to host and feed the street workers, and it seems that they prove to be positiw. my wife and I came to the steakhouse at 6.20 and there were still a few in front of us. We ordered our meals plus beer and wee at 6.30 the drinks came by quickly enough. then a group of hi vis Clad-Bloks arrived. around 19 o'clock I asked the waitress nice if someone tried to catch the fish we ordered. around 7.15, now on my second beer, I asked again nicely how our meals came when the large group of cerls received their. I was told that the cook (only one person) was busy. at 7.30 a.m. I was really upset and approached the waitress again and asked our food on the table at 7.45 it was not. no apologies. I paid for the beer and wee and went. at no time I got a sincere apology. the motel reception said the workers had ordered to eat before they came. I'm sorry, I'm not apologising for the pathetic service. Finally we drove to the city and ordered an almolst identical meal in the hibernian hotel. it was busy, but the meals came in about 10 minutes and half the price of the Steak house."

"We had breakfast here. The cafe is attached to a fresh produce shop. We enjoyed our breakfast and coffee and it seems to be quite popular with the locals. The staff are quite friendly and eager to please."

"Have been to this place a number of times. Generally a yuppie experience. Generally clean, with good toilets. Had what was meant to be lemon meringue pie ? A soft mushy white stuff that doesn’t seem properly cooked with a crust done with a blow torch to give it “ the look”. By definition, a flat white is meant to NOT have any foam on top. I always specify at order “ no foam” , but it is amazing how many barristers can still get it wrong. I sent mine back to get re done but it came back the same. I want coffee in my cup, not milk froth !. My friends Cappuccino was only lukewarm. Like our dining experience! (Foam not shown in photo. Just the space it takes up)"
