"We decided to have a family dinner at Alachati and loved it, the hosts were great, they set us up at a table out the front which had good atmosphere. We ordered cocktails (I had the Turkish delight which was beautiful although my son stole all of the fairy floss off the top) For mains we ordered a bunch of starters/tapas as share plates, every plate was delicious and fairly good portions too, 5 plates left us too full for desert unfortunately because their desert menu looked interesting. 5 stars guys, you didn’t disappoint."

"So disappointed. We were looking forward to a delicious breakfast and on a cold icy morning a hot breakfast would've been perfect. This place wasn't even busy and we waited over 40 mins for our meals. Not only were they served cold but the toast wasn't cooked properly and the bacon was fatty and underdone. Possibly one of the worst breakfasts I've ever been served and I eat breakfast out every Saturday morning."

"This is the worst place I have ever eaten. Given it had a 4.6 rating I am suspicious that the restaurant has been purchasing fake reviews. In terms of the décor and service as some have mentioned they were not great but given the supposed great seafood I was willing to give it a go. Wrong! We ordered what was meant to be a combination of beef ribs and seafood on the side (prawns, muscles, crab etc). Instead we got a pot containing fatty meat and tiny bits of rubbery seafood. Including the a full fishhead! Eyes and all!! I have no idea whether this place was ever good. Also worth mentioning we had to pay up front which should have been a warning sign. Please read the other reviews and don't dine here. Money aside we were annoyed we had wasted on of our evenings on the Gold Coast eating here when there is some much other choice available! Please see photo for supposed $70 dish."
