"We came here as my boyfriend wanted to ivite me for a coffee but a worker at the door told us we cannot come inside together. We tried to explain we need to place an order together but they were quick to see us leave-no interest in custmers shown. The workers seemed too young to understand they are in the shop to sell."

"Very cozy filiale of coffee 1 with lots of space and a library on the back. they let me take my dogs out of the rain that was very friendly! the coffee is strong and delicious with some sorts and there is a fantastic chocolate disc that is vegan."

"We had the afternoon. the staff was very nice and the cakes, the scones and tee were fresh and delicious. they even offered our little girl a free sandwich that was nicely fresh and she ate it all (usually a Fussy-Esser). first set!"

"Grey's and the New Inn seem to attract little attention when they really do deserve a lot more attention. Neither are pretentious but could make a little more effort to get a better reputation. The one member of staff was OK but could have been a bit more enthusiastic. The cream tea was pretty good, the surroundings even better. Good value and an oasis in the middle of the city. The toilets were pretty disgusting and showed a lack of attention and how hard is it to ensure that there is soap to wash your hands with? I suspect that from this visit and previous visits that they are struggling to recruit staff. No matter, I would return."
