"I’m sure the place is great but it’s closed til August 24th for vacation. I will be nice and give 3 stars. Looks like a cute place!However we drove all the way from Schaumburg as they have great ratings and good menu unfortunately they had a sign taped up on the door saying they are on vacation until August 24th! I wish they would have posted this on their Yelp and google maps site (updated hours).Waste of time and gas!"

"Easily my favorite spot to go to in the area! I have been here a handful of times over the last couple of years each time the staff is always friendly, service is superb, and the food drinks are nothing short of amazing! I also love that they havevirtualized their menus, where everything is accessed via phone, by simply scanning the barcode provided on the table with youriPhone or android. "I'm so grateful this wonderful restaurant is so close. Everything is always impeccable and well done. We usually get a few appetizers and a few pastas to share. Seven to nine plates between two people to get to taste all the great work they do. The carbonara is extraordinary and probably the best in the Chicago suburbs. Handmade pastas, fresh seasonal dishes, and a great wine list. What is there not to love?"

"We were at our expected time, but that's where the good experience ended. While I understand that it's busy, we waited over minutes to be acknowledged and Brian (I think) greeted us by setting down used glassware and dirty silverware in his hand by saying "What do you want to drink .. not "Hello, how are you or Happy Mother's Day". Then, with his face turned to another table, he just walked away to go look at another tables food. We proceeded to get up and leave. The manager asked what was happening, I explained, and that was that. Super poor experience. Pretty sad as Francesca's has really fallen off over the years. Simply acknowledging a guest would have fixed the situation"
