"Excellent vegan Chinese food and served with a smile. We visited this place twice on our trip and were beyond impressed with the food, and the reasonable prices. I could only suggest one thing: to open a restaurant in Malta!"

"We visited Vegetasia about 2 years ago and were blown away by the variety of great vegan dishes available at the buffet. Yesterday we returned to repeat this pleasant experience, but things took an unexpected turn: The buffet now contains non-vegan options, namely the sweet and sour soup and the fried rice, both of which contain eggs. Fortunately, those two dishes are clearly labeled as vegetarian, but I found it extremely sad to see a once fully vegan buffet slip back into suddenly offering vegetarian dishes. When asking the staff about it, they could not give a reason why. However, the rest of the buffet is still very well stocked with enjoyable vegan food, from sushi to curry and different vegan meat dishes. We would definitely give five stars if this would be a truly vegan restaurant!"

"I am 65 years old and from New York and waited all this time and traveled to Austria to find the best Chinese food I have ever eaten.I have a strict rule to only eat the local cuisine when traveling but this place looked so inviting I refused to pass it up and after all: "Rules are made to be broken". It is an old style family owned Chinese restaurant with wait service, table cloths, and serenity. These places have been pretty well replaced by take-outs, and low quality buffets in America.It was a pleasure to enjoy decor and style, quality food and service that can no longer be taken for granted.The wood walls and stain glass were awesome. The service was prompt and friendlybut not rushed. I ordered a soup that consisted of fine broth with huge shrimp. This was followed by delicious steamed doughy dumplings served in a bamboo basket.I was given a whole pot (not a cup) of fresh brewed tea. My main course was magnificent. A whole pound of boned barbecued succulent duck slices over a bed of vegtabales.Wow!The only thing that was not Mandarin Chinese was a Vieneese dessert which was a ball of premium ice cream rolled in crushed hazelnuts with an appricot center. The entire dinner was apx $25. It is in a residential neighborhood just bordering the main tourist section, only a bloch from the famous Catholic Church.My only complaint is that I came back on Monday and they had closed at 3pm (1500hrs), so call for hours before you go. Many restaurants in Vienna outsidethe tourist zone close early, close on Mondays or are only open for dinner etc..To the local residents I say: Patronize this gem before it gets replaced by a self serve plastic joint with cardboard containers."

"Lokal mit rustikalem Ambiente aber wunderschönem Innengarten. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett.Wir haben auch schon 2x bestellt. Essen wurde immer rasch geliefert und war sehr lecker."
