"Amazing place and food. Staff were friendly and courteous. Quality of the fish and rice I tried beats many places in Japan so well worth the price.Takeaway options are great as well, get here early and plan for a crowd. I tried my two favorites, salmon and salmon belly. Both were 10 out of 10. The salmon belly alone is worth the drive and wait. You won’t regret it.I went on a Friday around 2 and there were maybe 2 seats available, which can’t blame them at all. When the food and service is that good it’s gonna be busy. My friend said on weekend nights expect to wait a good bit. But that just makes the food taste even better."

"We have frequently driven past and never stopped in because of the limited parking, we took a chance today and immediately got into a parking spot. It was worth the potential hassle in the parking lot, because the food was stellar and the manager was doing consistent table touches in the dining area. Thank y'all!"

"I have found a new (to me) restaurant that I may have to go to several times a week. My first time this evening getting a to go dinner from 'THE OLD NEIGHBORHOOD GRILLE ' on Park Place in FW. All I can say is my chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, black-eyed peas, cream gravy and thick toasted bread (not white, more like rye but not) and warm apple pie was EXCELLENT. I even called the lady and told her. She said I made her day. Well, she made mine with good food, friendly conversation and a wonderfully full tummy. Home cooking and atmosphere that raises the bar for other places in town. And it 's close to work so I can easily run by and get to take home! I have to try the whole menu now. Y 'all should too."
