"Wow. We had the 'Friday ' boil shrimp, King crab legs, lobster, potatoes, and corn. We chose to have it 'mild ' so it was only a little spicy, but you can get it extra spicy if that 's your preference. Everything was cooked perfectly. It comes in a plastic bag; you put on your bib (don 't skip the bib, it 's very messy) open the bag and use your fingers to pull out and peel the shellfish. It 's worth the effort. They provide plenty of tools and even a pair of scissors to make it easy. There was more than enough food for two people. Our waiter took good care of the table and checked in on us regularly. It 's a fun place to eat and if you 've never had a southern seafood boil you really need to try this."

"I love good shrimp and this place had it. You order your food at the window and they will call you when it’s ready. Servings are plentiful and the food comes out hot and freshly cooked. The cheese grits were yummy and the fish grilled and tender. Prices are quite reasonable for what you get. I plan to return when I go back to visit. Shanty is a good description as it is nothing fancy with picnic bench seating. It was very clean and parking was good. There is also takeout."
