"My family and I ate here last weekend and we didn't have the best meal so we let the manager know. The way that the management handled the complaint has been amazing and I appreciate them reaching out to us immediately to try and rectify everything.we came back to eat again this weekend and have to say, it was such a great experience and the food and service was exceptional. We will certainly be back and have recommended to our friends too. Thank you for allowing us to come back and change our opinions."

"We went for a frying dinner and the meat was dry, eating not very hot and the bowl of the vegetables were over boiled, looked gray and wet. When this was a Carvery, it was fantastic, his such a shame that his downhill sin was renovated."

"Been here a number of times their menu and food is nice a tasty, service the times I been here has been good and attentive. There was once a customer behind me had to complain because the bread he was given had mould in it, this shouldn't happen but I bet it has at many eateries even those with good reviews. It didn't stop me from going there again..... I just look at my food slightly more carefully before I eat it!!!!"

"Decided to venture out to see what life was like in the local Pub, faced with two door staff who were only advising people to disinfect hands by dispenser by door this was empty, no request to complete any track trace forms..Went to the...Bar bought drinks then found a table had not been wiped or cleaned then noticed smoking area was pretty full of people no social distancing. Long queues formed by the Bar which snaked past people’s tables all very uncomfortable. Whilst the drinks were good value it appeared any concept of extra staff ensuring surfaces were cleaned or numbers of individuals occupying tables did not appear to be enforced, come on Spoons yon need to sometimes forget about profit."

"My friend and I visited for the Sunday Roast. Service was good. Did not have to wait long for food and drinks. Pleasant young staff. Was so looking forward to a proper Sunday roast. However, the roast potato's were horrid. When the young waitress cleared the plates from the table she asked how the food was. I pointed to the potatoes which remained on my plate. I told her they were horrible, hard, overcooked and tasted like pre-cooked frozen potatoes. Reply was very sweet, apologised and said that she would tell the chef. Would have been nice for someone ie manager to have come over and talk to us but did not see any one in authority for the duration of our stay. Sorry to say that I cannot recommend."
