"This was our first time visiting Hope Farm and we experienced their Brunch on a beautiful sunny Saturday morning on the outdoor patio area. We had high hopes as we were driving an hour (one way) for the visit and they did not disappoint. The food, service, and atmosphere were all superb—TOP QUALITY—loved the decor inside and out too! The only slight negative to mention was we felt the front door hostess station was a bit snobby and not very welcoming (particularly the young long blond haired woman), no welcome or good bye or even a smile. Other than that, we didn’t let that ruin our visit and had an absolutely lovely time. We have already recommended the venue to other family members and friends. We plan to return for a dinner experience as well."

"A fantastic little place for a romantic or restful lunch. We saw the sign as we were walking the quaint city streets of Fairhope. In fact we looked through the window and just saw a small bar. We almost kept walking and the hostess opened the door and welcomed us in. We are so glad she did. The small dining room extends to the rear of the restaurant. The tables are separated far enough apart so that you can carry on a conversation without feeling intruded upon. Our waiter was quick and took our drink orders. I am a sweet tea drinker and their sweet tea was perfect. The menu has all day options; lunch options and dinner options. Geez, we must go back for dinner one evening to try another entree. I had French onion soup which was perfectly prepared and steaming hot. My wife had the beef tenderloin slider and string fries- she shared one with me and it was delicious. They have dynamic looking desserts and I longed to try one- but will indulge next time. There will definitely be a next time. When in Fairhope- don't miss this foodie treasure!"

"Right. had soooo heard many good things about this place, so I went to see what the deal was. got this ahi tuna medium rare and it was cooked for perfection. Tuna can be so easy to mess, but I'm so glad that mine was good to my tastes. also got their home potato chips as a page recommended by our server. my friend got the Spinat buffalo chicken sluice and her came with two sides; she got the house chips and green salad."

"I love walking into a place that is simple with a touch of elegance. I like when restaurants have great service and let the food be the focal point of the visit. I also really appreciate when a chef approaches his work as art- because at the end of the day- that is exactly what good food is. The wifey and I visited Camellia Café this past weekend with another couple. As we walked in, we received a warm welcoming greeting and were shown to our table. Ricky, our server,promptly approached the table and set the tone for the evening- he was great! Super friendly, funny, attentitive, and helpful. We each started with a drink. Any place that has Booker's behind the bar is alright with me. Definitely hit thespot. The ladies each had a mixed cocktail that they enjoyed as well. Next Up: The Appetizer. Due to picky eaters at the table- we had to keep this part simple. We opted for the Truffle Fries and Beef Carpaccio. The fries came out perfect.They were cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. The Beef Carpaccio... It disappeared quicker than imaginable! It was delicious! And now... The Main Event! I opted for the Veal Tomahawk steak. It came accompanied with carrots and potatoesau gratin. It was presented very nicely, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor! I was not disappointed at all. The wife had the filet mignon, also presented nicely and cooked perfectly. Our friends had the duck and the fish. I stole a biteof each plate and everything was very tasty. The meats all seemed to be of good quality and nothing was skimped on. Camellia Café lived up to our expectations. We all left very satisfied. The service was fantastic, the ambience within theplace was great, and the food was just right. This will definitely be a place that we come back to in the future. The perfect place to have a date night, celebrate something special, or to just treat yourself to a great meal."

"Truthfully my guests myself were very displeased with the food. I believe we were expecting so much more. I myself imagine what I ordered (in photo below) would have been shrimp stuffed with crab meat not not crabmeat put in a ball put on top of a shrimp. The side pasta would have had veggies in the pasta made lighter than a heavy creamy pasta. It was just not what I expected. My guest who ordered the steak was undercooked when asked to re make it. The steak was put in"

"So delicious! We came to an early dinner at 4:00. The garden bar was super fresh. Our server was extremely attentive. I had the Double Decker Chicken and this dish alone is worth 5 stars. I've never served a dish that looked like his picture in the menu."
