"Café Suss & Würzig in the center of Erlangen, at the south side of the "Schlossgarten", is an inviting café which offers a nice outside area for sit-down. Beside the usual hot and cold drinks and German pastries, also salads and pasta dishes are offered. However, there is no table service; ordering is at the counter and you have to wait for your order to be prepared. Unfortunately, this preparing was rather bumbling and inefficient; I had to wait a substantial time until the coffee was poured and the cake was cut. Furthermore, Café Suss & Würzig does not employ a cash register. The price you have to pay is called out of the blue by the person behind the counter. Becoming a bit suspicious I asked for a written bill. (Ein Beleg). Then it transpired that I had been overcharged on the coffee. A two point rating."

"After the renovation, the baker looks really great inside! Very cozy and welcoming. The breakfasts and the coffee are very good as usual. The orange juice at vegetarian breakfast is always forgotten :D :D. But we got used to it."
