"A truly excellent establishment, with the best service in the city. This is a Newsagents cum Pub cum Restaurant cum Bookmakers - an brilliant idea I'm sure you will agree. Serving the classic French beer Kornenbourg alongside the delicious Grimbergen blonde and blanche there really is something for everyone.The food menu is literally whatever you want - just ask and they will knock it up, but a better approach is to simply let the head chef decide what is fresh and in-season. Excellent beer garden to the front is a fantastic sun trap. If you are a fan of French chariot racing (and lets face it, who isn't?) and you like to bet on it, you are also in the right place. Le baby foot, pool table and pin ball will keep you entertained otherwise (Full tournaments are available upon request).Head barmaid Lorelei is an absolute star, nothing is too much trouble. The resident dog Lulu is a bit of a madman, a lovable rogue.Great selection of gardening magazines (and a bit of blue for the lads) as well as cards and cigarettes."
