"We were a group of friends looking to experience a meal at the Scala with one guest having a birthday. And it was our last dinner in Europe after a 12-day visit including cruising the Rhine. A beautiful unique setting. Menu was varied and provided each guest with the ability to order their own specialty. One guest was gluten-free and this was readily accommodated. Each of our 3-courses was expertly prepared and the food was simply terrific and met expectations for a high-end restaurant. Courses were properly timed. Can surely recommend and would return should I come back to Lucerne."

"Great surprise!! In the top of the Manor department store, the Manora Restaurant served a delicious, reasonably priced breakfast! It is self serve. Grab a plate, pick what you want and pay. If you get a large plate coffee or tea are included."

"Lovely atmosphere, this place is very well presented with table linens etc. We were seated during a busier period after just turning up which was nice. We both had hot chocolates and they were just ok . It was hot.milk and packet hot chocolate, the way this establishment is presented I must admit I was hoping for something a bit special, perhaps more thought on the presentation. The hot chocolate was tasty, but more like something I would expect out of Switzerland equivalent to a Costa, which was unexpected from a place that looks like a COYA."

"Outstanding friendly staff, very friendly clients, awesome and authentic atmosphere, great rock music! The food I tried is very good (ribs, burgers, hot dog, salad), many different beers from all over the world. Alone for lunch when in the area or in a group/couple in the evening always worth a visit. Prices are fair! Not to forget all the special events like concerts, car/bike meets; nice terrasse for summer afternoons."
