"A fun place for brunch in this quaint converted house. Sometimes it gets quite busy so making a reservation during busy times would be good. Prompt food service. Noise level gets loud inside , even when not the restaurant is not at full capacity. The food was better quality and tasting the first time we went a couple months ago. But the food was good either way."

"Stopped in for a quick bite. Had a noodle bowl with Chicken and Shrimp and a peanut sauce. Added some bean sprouts and it was delicious. At first I was not sure if I wanted to spend that much on a bowl, but after eating it, I was not disappointed. Will go back..."

"The food is decent. It is a small menu, unique flavors. It would be nice for some fresh decisions. I booked a reservation, but they had no record of it, although I had a confirmation. They also said, if we stayed, we had to do in 1 hour because they had a private function."

"I booked a reservation for Sat Dec 1 at 7 pm by Open Table. That was for my husband's birthday dinner. I received a confirmation email when booking and a reservation email to Fri Nov 30 at 830 am. I didn't want to call the restaurant because I got a reservation reminder by email, so I didn't think it was necessary. When we were there, the restaurant was CLOSED. NO SIGNS EXPLAINING WHY OR EVEN A SORRY, WE ARE CLOSED . No one was inside and all the lights were out. I tried to call the restaurant and no reply or explanation of vote. I tried to call again on Sunday 2 December the day after, and the same thing that no voicemail explanation at all for closing. The seorak website says they are closed (but it is very hard to find on the website, and its not obvious at all). Google still says that the restaurant is open. Thank you. Open table Seorak for the waste of our time on my husband's birthday."

"This restaurant was recommended to us, and it did not disappoint. Our party of 3 started with the sea bream crudo, and it was fresh and tasty and did not last long. We then had the chicken liver tartine (again, excellent) the beets and goat...cheese salad (delish) the grilled striploin (grilled to perfection at Chicago rare) and the beef tartare. The beef tartare had a little bit too much mustard and overwhelmed the dish, but the beef was fresh and chopped to perfection. We all agreed that we had to try the dessert after such an excellent meal. The chocolate cake with candied peanuts was excellent, but the crown goes to the citrus posset. I have never had a dessert so fresh and clean and tasty. A creamy custard reminiscent of creme caramel, but with mint and lime flavours that knocked our socks off. I would come here again just for this dish. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the server could not answer questions about the food (with every question we asked, she had to either refer to the menu or ask the Chefs). I believe that a server at a restaurant of this calibre should know the dishes and their ingrediants inside out in order to do justice to the dishes the Chefs/cooks in the kitchen have so perfectly prepared. With 1 cocktail, 2 beers and a glass of wine, the bill came to around $200. Worth. Every. Penny."
