"The pork bahn mi was excellent, as were two of the poke bowls we got. Unfortunately, they made the third bowl with white rice, even though the order ticket said brown rice, and that third bowl (hokey poke) also had much more mayonnaise than we like. They also messed up one of the milk teas, leaving out the tapioca pearls. However the shumai were excellent and the gyoza were crispy and tasty. Three of the four milk teas all tasted quite nice (taro, brown sugar, and lavender); the Thai milk tea was ok, but not my favorite version of Thai tea. I would go again, but I would double check the order before leaving the restaurant."

"This might be my favorite pizza place in Peoria. I've visited 3 times so far, and tried the BBQ Chicken, the Sopressata, and the Smokey Pork Chipotle Pizzas. All stuffedThe stuffed BBQ Chicken Pizza is the best BBQ Chicken Pizza I've ever had. Hands down. The Smokey Pork Chipotle is also phenomenal. The pineapple and peaches pull the flavors together SO well. On the other hand, the Sopressata might be the worst pizza I've ever had. I suggest ordering anything but that.The service type is interesting. There are paper menus at the door, but you order at the counter. Then, you receive a beeper (like in Panera) and they bring the food out to you. Surprisingly quick servicd as well.I also really like the atmosphere. The outdoor seating is nice, half shaded, and colorful. The interior is rustic and cozy.I'd highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pizzas available and there are other vegetarian options besides pizza as well.Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly! Pizzas would be too large for a kid to finish in a meal, so great to take home too.Parking: There is no associated parking lol. Need to park on the street (2 hour limit on weekday), or down the block at a downtown parking lot."

"What a rare find and gemstone in Peoria! We stumbled into this place while we waited for our fog next door. They are the absolutely best in fine and authentic Vietnamese cuisine! Delicious food and great atmosphere! Will definitely eat the 2 hours drive there again!"

"The personal is nice. while the ice tasty and eating are good, the Slush fragrances are terrible. I have tried different flavors and they are all bad. they taste like crushed ice with expired generic Kool-Aid. whatever they use for these needs to change immediately. a waste of $3. I can't overdo what the hell they are. I changed my 5 to 1."

"I have eaten at the Owl's Nest several times and it has always been a good experience. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is well cooked and flavorful with sizeable portions. Monday's half price pizza is excellent, I love the thin crispy crust, and distribution of toppings/cheese. The Friday fish special is another excellent meal, the walleye filets and sides are plentiful. The French fries are the bomb! Price per person: $10–20"
