"The reason it can be hit and miss is due to its increasing popularity, the kitchen staff are not able to cope with a lot of orders together. 99% of the food is excellent, the only thing I have had that was poor was a poppadom, I have had one twice and both times the oil had not been hot enough so what you got was an oil soaked big crisp. The ARC is becoming more popular and some of it is down to the good food at No 60. If you are doing a pre dinner show, either turn up very early 5:30 6 order as soon as you get there then you can relax. or ring them earlier in the day and place your order (this works best) I have taken lots of new people and the only complaint is how long food takes to come out of the kitchen. and if you do not pre order your only pudding choice is ice cream I will keep going I do not mind the wait, I can just look out of the window and relax. Staff are nice, I hope they sort out the kitchen so more people will come, it could be a little gold mine"

"Popped in for drink with friends on a night out. Bar-staff got 3 of the 4 drinks ordered wrong, then neglected to bring my change. When challenged on this, he approached who I assume was the supervisor. I was asked to leave my name number. Needless to say, they did not contact me. Drinks are not 'dirt cheap ', but typically priced. Atmosphere is nothing special, still seems a bit down-market. They are many better places to go, even in Stockton."

"I love this place! The food is heavenly with such a range of food on offer. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind and I particularly like coming here as I use a mobility scooter to travel around and this place is extremely accommodating."

"Me and my partner went here one night we had off, first impressions of the place is it was classy, quite busy which is a good thing. Waiters were rushed off their feet, I tried to get the waiters attention many times but they either ignored me or didnt hear me. I asked for poppadoms and pickle and had to hustle an onion salad because they don't do them. Other than that the meal was great and mid priced. Would return."

"I had food delivered and the only good thing I can say is that it arrived within half an hour. I have to give the food one star as it was totally tasteless and the chicken dhansak was dry and with little to no sauce, meaning it was awfully dry and a bit of a slog to eat. The sag aloo was quite good. I always over order so that I have some to heat up for the next day. I think for the first time ever I just chucked it away without bothering to save it. Peshwari nan was ok but no good without a delicious sauce to dip it in. This food was not reheatable. Where was the sauce guys? I've been eating Indian food for decades from the highest to the street food level. Anywhere else I've had it, dhansak has been accompanied by a delicious sauce. This dhansak was dry as a bone, which would have been ok if it was tandoori oven baked chicken, but it was dhansak and should have been in a juicy lentil sauce but it was just some coloured chicken and a couple of bits of onion. However what further prompted me to bother to post a review was that days later they had the absolute cheek to start spamming my mobile phone. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. Honestly I cannot believe that these companies do this. What makes it okay to spam me at work in the middle of the day (or indeed any time of day) trying to get me to use them again? Even if I'd actually liked the food I would still never, ever use a restaurant again that spammed my mobile. Luckily my phone can block them. If I hear any more from them I will report them because if every company I used thought it was ok to do this I'd be picking up messages all day. On a plus note the delivery was fairly quick. So, no, I don't recommend. Very poor quality food and awkward and completely unnecessary spamming afterwards. Never give them your phone number."
