"Sunday night, Duisburg, tumbleweed blowing down the streets, not a souls in sight. Not a restaurant open either!! I walk past the Why Not and from the outside I 'm thinking Why? But there 's nowhere else open and I 'm starving, so in I go. To be...honest the inside is not much better than the outside, I mean, I know I 'm not going to be getting Haut Cuisine but the staff are friendly, Jimi Hendrix is on the jukebox and I 'm beginning to warm to the place. I order a spag bol, cooked fresh, and it 's delicious, glass of red wine (not German sir, but from Italy) excellent. And all at a very good price. Just goes to show, never judge a book by it 's cover. Jimi would 've loved it"

"Went here on a pub crawl. Arrived and a gentleman after realizing I only spoke English showed me how to order. He screamed PILSNER!!! and sure enough small beers appeared a minute later. Other customers reacted as if this was normal. Great pub. I...appreciated the sideways Christmas tree on the wall"

"I'm stuck, next to all the Italians in nrw, there's a real Italian soul in the middle of the city palais. the gusto del caffé is tiny and inconspicuous to the cityvinum and next to the casina entrance. so modest the appearance of the load and the appearance of the extremely sympathetic owner, which comes on the teller and into the glass is Italian art for me. if you order a cheese or ham dish here for wein you get only the best quality and a fine selection that can only crawl a real gourmet. the gusto is actually only a caffé, but you get panini, antipasti and a daily dish. quite honestly, I prefer to eat here with bruchetta and panini satt, than that I go to one of the many so-called italian who believes seenesauce is the soul italian. I have unfortunately also abused many months only for the night-time in the cityvinum, but now I like to sit with my wife at a bottle of wine here and let us accompany us with small delicacies through the evening. for me it's like a short holiday in italien, better you can't do it.I can recommend this to the gusto del caffé. do not let them be deterred if there is more going on in the other local around. this is still a secret tip."
