Frozen roasters, tinned veg, one person /4 had stuffin and no yorky, the rest had yorky no stuffin.. gravy was like water, meat was tasteless, portions were small and the coke was flat. "The fish chips were excellent but the portions were very small for the price charged. When we waited for our fish and chips ,we noticed the person frying the fish was dipping the fish in the batter and putting the fish in the dripping but she wiped her hands on a dirty cloth or up the back of her overall. It was very noticeable on her overalls and her hair was hanging loose. The overall standard of cleanliness was not very good which spoils the experience. Plastic gloves would be an improvement."

"Firstly I’ must say that this place is under new management , so don’t read any comments before july I went for the 3 course lunch with a pint of lovely cider prawn starter steak main and a proper tasting fresh cheesecake , not the baked stodgy stuff you usually get The cider was cool and fresh in a lovely glass The starter prawn starter was tasty and fresh The steak was so tender it pulled apart The cheesecake was the best I’ve had in years tasted like they had just that second made it fresh The decor is beautiful and comfortable, actually felt like a fine dining experience a little gem in Dudley and unbelievable value especially in this terrible cost of living climate, TBH I don’t know how they are offering such lovely fresh tasting quality food for the price they are ,also decent portion sizes I was really really impressed and will definitely be recommending and returning had to give them a great review such nice staff aswell keep up the good work , I don’t know anywhere where you can get a pint of cider and a three course meal of that quality for under £19 amazing Thankyou again old glass house lovely afternoon with my friend so glad we picked you"

"Great home cooked food. the steak ale pie is mouth water, clobige pieces of steak and they can really taste the ale. with a real bake, not only a puff that rests above. excellent selection of real ales that are regularly changed. and the waitress who served us (blondish hair) was excellent and attentive. destined to visit and book a taxi"
