"Wow! I'm only reluctant to write a rave review for fear I won't be able to get a table at this jewel box. The wine, food, atmosphere and service were excellent. Shared a bottle of wine, the Caesar salad and several small plates with a friend. I will definitely be back soon."

"A picnic lunch. as always we want options! selected the kicherbsenmaische auf madteig. the maische had a hauch of sriracha, gave him something deep and the sourdough had a good bite and delicious! I'd go back for the cockerbse. the veggie bentobox is simple, but was nice, in the location, pick up and go. the hummus reminded me of sabra hummus. we had to buy all the vegan bakers they offered, and now have three to enjoy later!"

"At the order we said the waitress that my daughter-in-law was very allergic to the decision between sandwiches, she decided between chickensalat and truthahnsandwich. we asked the waitress if there were nuts in the chicken salad and she said she didn't know, but that didn't think. my daughter-in-law said she would just go with the turkey sandwich to play it safe. we waited half an hour for our food and when it finally came out, my daughter-in-law, fortunately, opened her sandwich to take off the salad, the nuts were torn up. the waitress offered to make her another, but my daughter-in-law refused because we had been running late at this time and knew that it would take one to make another. I asked for a manager when the bill came. She took forever to get out, so I went in to find her. we explained the situation and how highly allergic to nuts it is and cannot even be around it. I told her that we explained this to the waitress and how she should know what's in her eating. she said, “We finished the turkey sandwich.” She also said, “at least you didn’t die,” with a smirk on her face. I was so angry at this point and threw my card just down to pay the rest of the bill and went. the worst service and my children chicken and wad were dry and not very good. I recommend not to eat here!"

"Messed up my takeout order the last 4 times I ordered from here. My whole family makes jokes about how they screw up the take out orders. Not sometimes, not 50%, but ALL ORDERS. I don’t care if there’s a sign that says check your order before you leave. I shouldn’t have to. We’ll keep eating here because the food is good but please take this as a message to fix your problems. Seems to be a particular issue leaving the alcoholic beverages out of the takeout orders but we’ve also had food totally wrong. There are takeout people standing right there managing takeout items why can’t they get it right? Last three times this happened I let it go but now I’m upset about it."

"Haven’t been to Pizza Cave in 2 years and used to be ok and was trying to support local businesses during this time. Placed a to go order and was told 1.5 hours. My husband made sure to get there right before the 1.5 just in case. Most businesses have been coming to your car but he had to walk inside to get the food. He didn’t check the pizza when he picked it up but when he brought it home it was the most disgusting pizza I have ever seen. It looked as thought it was left out for hours. It was hard and didn’t look fresh at all. I did not want to eat it. My daughters pizza didn’t look as bad as ours but she tried a bite and said the cheese tasted weird. My husband called to let them know about our order. They wanted to make us another order instead of a refund. They redid only one pizza. So he drove all the way back there and when he got home it looked almost exactly the same. I absolutely refused to eat it and we ordered from another local restaurant. Took us hours for this whole process. Would never order from here again."

"Wow, what a beautiful little jewel! We went through gluten-free to get a quick bite. Usually to find something gf and fast is impossible near the towns, but this place exceeded our expectations (because the almost completely eaten crepe) I got the prosciutto and I got it. My husband has the Florentine and we split the lemon. Make sure to stop and get some sweetness or be happy with your mouth"
