Now the movement could come back to the whole. Because in November there was a Council decision on the building rent for the property. Because the property on which the place is located belongs to the city. The City Council decided in 1992 to grant ownership in inheritance. So the reason is still the city, only the building went to the farmers. By the end of 2021, 25,000 euros of inheritance were due per month. However, the current city council decided to reduce it to 11,000 euros per month, so that the whole can be operated economically. The plan of Maik Kosiol is now to take over the inheritance contract. We have already applied for this in the city and are waiting for feedback, he says. The city has not yet expressed itself on request. If he succeeds, he wants to reopen at Theaterplatz in April. In the spring I want to reopen the beer garden, says Kosiol, who runs the object together with his wife Janet. Even in spring he wants to run the café again, only no longer under the franchise concept of the dairy girl. But still as a café with breakfast. The restaurant Stadtwaldschlösschen on the ground floor will follow in the middle of the year. The Brunetti Centro on the upper floor wants to take over the estate agent, says Enotria da Miri, the operator of the DaMiri, Kosiol. He still has locals in the Lucknerpark and in the Brudergasse. In 2019, the couple Kosiol took over the traditional house at the Theaterplatz. They started with a lot of euphoria. With Maik Kosiol an experienced gastronomy took over the house. Together with his wife Janet he also runs the Elbterrasse Wachwitz, Brunetti and Kitzo Alpenstüberl. Previously also the Luckner Parkrestaurant, but this shop closed 2019. Among other things, there was the Stadtwaldschlösschen-Bier in Dresden. The drink of the traditional brewery is presented in the Schankhaus. In 1866, the first municipal forest castles opened at the Postplatz. The brewery in the main house on Bautzner Straße produced and imported beer for the Bavarian style at the time for 30 years on behalf of the Actienverein der Societätsbrauerei zu Dresden, so that a second place was sought for a break. On the ground floor the Milkmaid Coffee House also opened. There was breakfast and coffee and cake. Upstairs they led the Brunetti Centro, an Italian restaurant. At the beginning of 2020, the building site on the theatre square and the Augustus bridge made life more difficult. In fact, the construction works before the restaurant should be completed a long time ago, but they still take part. “When the new construction site was built exactly in front of our beer garden last summer, our sales decreased by 50 percent,” says the host in early 2020. No guest wants to drink his beer right next to excavators and compressed air hammer. Let's hope that the plan will show up and a Dresden tradition gassing can finally be opened."
