"Great place, marred by some soured/off beers on the cask pump.21 aug23 Knowledgeable and pleasant waitress and bartender/brewer.Great vibe and decor inside, though it doesn't look like much outside.I got the London broil, it was very good. Came with a nice salad. Thought it was a great price for $17.50 for what I got!This was my 2nd visit. The cask IPA was sour and not good. The nitro ESB had a funny flavor to me, but was ok. Might have been I'm not used to ESB on nitro. The Airedale Pale Ale, carbonated, was quite good. Similar to Bass Ale, and actually quite a good copy.Was here once before during 2020 covid, all the beers I tried were off and sour with brettanomyces. That was both cask ales and a bitter. Decided to give a pass due to low customer demand and trying to keep business afloat. Owner?/brewer was a nice guy.After reading a review 3 weeks old on sour casks, and visiting twice, I feel like they need to completely sterilize their cask system...handpumped seems infected and sour. Seems like a persistent infection, a shame after all the work this guy is putting in. I appreciate his effort and will continue to visit, but will have to enjoy his other beers instead of my #1 target.I basically visit English pubs in every city I visit, and search for cask ale i.e. hand-pumped bitter, pale, or IPA. About 4 cities a week, and lived in Suffolk UK for 4 years."

"Such a great lunch! As a garlic lover, I really enjoyed the Vampire Slayer burger. The patty was flavorful, and the toppings were unique. Happy with the decision to upgrade to the sweet potato fries and ranch."

"Came in for a pint and it was absolutely delicious that I had another! Great Irish pub with quite a few TVs and I pretty chill vibe. There weren’t many folks in there so it was very relaxing."

"This is a really good pizza! we have it twice in a couple, so much we like it. we get the hand tormented and it is beautiful and thin with a really good kaukruste. we managed to go both of them and still think it could be the best go-to-local relaxed pizza spot we had in denver. the paprikas have a beautiful spice and they have a really good ranch. definitiw also try the garlic ranch, it is totally worth the extra charge and they give them a good part for the .50 load. I would definitely recommend you try this place!"

"Feeling a little Irish? How about some Grateful Dead? I wasn't at first til I came in on this snowy Wednesday. Jim and his crew have been awesomeness, tell me what's better to warm your bones than a shot of Jameson and a bowl of they're soup. I'm broke and mid move but I will be back to try the food tomorrow."

"I went here early in the morning to watch a bowl game, so my experience may be a bit atypical. The bar is small, but cozy, and serves as one of the locations to watch the Iowa Hawkeyes play football. Their screens are a good distance from any of the seating locations. They had a good selection of beer, and their small menu was fairly good for bar food. I was not a fan of their early morning make your own waffles promo, but given the beer, the quality of their bar food, the decor, and the cleanliness, I 'd give this place 5 stars."
