"This restaurant has closed permanently and is now called Small Plates . I haven 't been to either but the other reviews were super so I didn 't think it fair to drag down any reputation."

"Straight forward grill house with good portions and food. Service was excellent and attentive. Flexibility for when we were running late was appreciated. Would love to see a little more variety on the menu."

"We were here with my man. we got married, and the next night was nice. so a relaxed and quiet place, as we flew out early in the morning for our slumber weeks, our beautiful host chris and gavin left us a bag with breakfast snacks for our trip to the airport, which was a beautiful note. a beautiful place with beautiful hosts"

"Great selection of food, we went twice during our stay in Llandbedr. First night we had Steak and Guiness pie and Chicken Nanizza (mix between naan and pizza and they were nice. Second night we had Anglesey Burger (very filling! , chicken and avocado salad (there was no avocado and we weren't told this at the time of ordering but we were so hungry at this point we didn't care . No table service, you had to order at the bar which didn't bother us, however bear this in mind if you go on a Saturday evening as the bar area is small and got very busy. Nice seating area outside, you can sit by the wall along the stream. Prices were reasonable too. Also of note, food isn't served beyond 7pm on Sunday. We recommend you book during busier periods."

"We went for afternoon tea…..from start to finish we didn’t have a good experience here! Dark gloomy room and only 1 table with 2 chairs and a bench with cushions! The tea was so weak and wasn’t very hot! The array of sandwiches and cakes weren’t presented very well, seemed to have just been thrown on too the plates! All in all very expensive for what we got! Wouldn’t go there again! The girl who served us was very pleasant and wasn’t to blame!"

"Had a real treat today at the castle spa. Staff were courteous ,helpful and friendly. Lovely place and grounds. Would recommend the spa and use of hot tub to all. Also had a lovely afternoon tea. Wish to thank all the staff for our day out."

"Excellent pizzas, no exaggeration. Plenty toppings, good bases with solid crusts, not over-cooked and just the right amount of cheese. Would use them a lot more if lived local, you should give them a try!"

"A fantastic and unexpected spontaneous gastric experience. Thoroughly recommend. We'll be definately be back. Don't be put off the the food hygine rating. Its completely misleading and unhelpful. The place is spotless and standard of hygiene is high. As a food producer ourselves that have been through inspctions, it makes no sense. Yes, its very cosy and the coffee machine is at the top of the stairs and the kitchen is in the basement and everything has to be brought up the stairs but no way did we feel thst food hygiene was compromised. The Authorities need to take a more pragmatic approach and support a local buisness thsts providing an unique experience to a very high standard."

"My only complaint is that the bath could do with a grab rain by the side of it to help get into the bath to use the shower. Otherwise everything was good.lovely big bed and very clean Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value"
