"This is going to seem a little harsh but I think it’s a good reality check. This place was on my list of wanting to try. Apparently it’s also very popular with the TikTok crowd. Ok, from the pictures online, my impression was that it was an upscale super cool Mexican restaurant. It’s mid range, just tables- no booths with a central rectangular bar It’s Mexican food so you better be at least “as good” as the average taco shop, right? Hmmm We sat right away and checked out the menu. It’s a simple 1 pager with apps and entrées on one side, drinks on the other. They have a list of tequila drinks and Mezcal drinks. But what they didn’t have on the menu? I mean the name of the place is Death by Tequila” They didn’t list any TEQUILA…. "

Had the Wagyu Burger and Lasagna Pros: Location If you live/work in the area, then you know how easy it is to get to. Wine If you like wine, then this is a spot for you. Lots of choices at all price ranges. "Please note recent reviews. We liked this place last year, big mistake to go back. Quality of food has come down by a lot. Horrible fish tacos and burned salty Carne asada fajita. We also had a groupon and they are pushing lots of ways so you spend more w 18% tip for bad food and service. The refried beans was the worst ever, look how bright color and fatty it is. If you have a Groupon, cancel. There r so many options for Mexican food amd sadly this is not one anymore.Dietary restrictions: Extremely salty, don't go."
