"My husband and I are visiting the province and decided to try the restaurant because it had good reviews. We ordered a hot turkey sandwich which came as some dried up turkey on a slice of bread. No dressing or vegetables. Came with tiny Coleslaw...and was charged for gravy. My husband order French onion soup which turns out to be the worst one he has ever had. French onion soup requires onion not onion soup mix and was microwaved. The food wasn't cooked fresh and i don't care for microwave. Order pop which came out flat which we sent back and ordered beer instead. Not worth the $75 spent."

"We arrived in Deer Lake quite late and this was the only place that was still open. As we hadn't eaten since lunch on the ferry, we were starving. A&W burgers are always very good, even more so when you're hungry. The service was also...very prompt and the food hot."
