"OK first this is more of a take out place it has 3 two seats tables inside. If it can go into a deep fryer it goes into it at this resturant. Wings,chicken,fries,poppers anything deep fried is fair game here. No burgers, no soup,no salads, no grill just a deep fryer.OK with that being said, the two piece fish and chips was very good and my wife's deep fried chicken was very good.The deep fried onion rings are OK and home made so people like them but we thought are basic. Overall they do deep frying very well and actualy use some spices.Deer lake is not a emporium of quality restaurants so the spud does what it does very well, we will be back once the blood pressure stabilizes."

"Ate there with family and friends over the weekend. When we arrived, there were only a couple customers in the store, yet staff must have been too busy to clean up the tables for other customers. The woman at the counter was nice, took our order, and food arrived promptly. Quality of food was average. The tables that we sat at were covered in gravy, and old napkins (we picked the cleanest one we saw) and the floor was littered with stale fries, container covers, and straw wrappers. It didnt seem as though anyone was tasked with keeping the establishment clean for customers. As i can see from other reviews, this seems to be routine at this KFC location."
