"I love Wheat Penny. It’s a favorite spot for me and my coworkers to get carryout lunch or after-work dinner a beer or glass of wine. The service is always amazing; staff are knowledgeable about vegan, and they’re so friendly. The Eggplant Fries are super popular (skip the yogurt sauce) and they’re good, but they’re a bit on the salty side for me. Their pizza crust is phenomenal crispy on the bottom, and charred-chewy-air-pocket perfection on top. My tip: SKIP EVERYTHING ELSE and get the ‘Veganator’ pizza. The smoked jackfruit and cashew ricotta really elevate this vegan pie; it’s SO GOOD. The vegan items on this menu don’t feel like an afterthought. Updated from previous review on 2021-08-01"

"Excellent service, amazing atmosphere presentation, delicious food. Love the craft cocktails. Forgot to take a pic of our desserts but they were excellent, too. I’ve had more flavorful sea bass but this would not stop us from returning. I cut the empanadas in half to share before taking a picture, but they were beautifully presented as well."
