"The wait was long and the steak was tough. Toughest piece of meat I’ve ever eaten at a dine in, and the prawns were not cooked long enough. The Flavours were good but the execution of the meals lacked. Did not enjoy."

"Tried my 1st piece of barramundi at this place and I must say that it was the nicest piece of fish that I have had in a very long time. I did try the battered barramundi at another place and it was terrible. This time...I tried it grilled and I will only have fish grilled for now on. The taste was delicious and the portion enough that I did not want anymore. The chips and salad were OK, but I agree the service did leave me a bit annoyed as others who ordered after me takeaway, got their meal before I did. The menu is extensive but the seating needs to be improved."

"Pleasant surprise for hotel restaurant/bar. I had never dined here so decided to give it a try after booking on bookarestaurant.com. Level of service was excellent, food was great and reflected seasonal vegetables. We had the seafood special, a whole snapper cooked for two. Reasonable prices."

"Have been going there for years and was always good but lately meals are going up and the sizes and quality is going down. tonights surf n turf and seafood for two $102 can only be described as lunch time left overs. Steak small, uncooked and tough and all of the seafood was dry and rubbery and cold. Very disappointed"

"My wife and I came here by ourselves and also with our delightful Irish daughter-in-law. The staff were friendly and efficient and the coffee and food were most enjoyable. The view of the Darwin Harbour from the back of Parliament House was truly magnificent as well."

"We had a late lunch here on 25/01/2014 and as it was late we were the only customers so the service provided by an older man was good, he didn't smile but you could tell that was just him. The bugs and calamari were the best ever. The female chef yelled to ask us how our meals were from the opposite side of the room. Nothing was available from the dessert menu. Today 14/02/2014 we went back and apparently got the last table but the restaurant was half empty, I assume on purpose as out meals took forever! Customers were joking about who was next as it was beyond a joke. The waiter staff had no idea and so slow, drinks had to be asked for twice, etc. After waiting an hour for our entree I said something and straight away warmish food come straight out, where was this sitting and why didn't they want to serve it to us. Mains weren't as good. Some trashy chick, possible the partner of the chef was getting intoxicated and using customers as baby sitters, yelled at waiters and put herself before customers. She asked us how our meal were and when we said about the wait she said the chef was a concrete, not sure what that had to do with anything!"

"Heard really good things about but it did not live up it. Myself and my 2 other friends order the steak. They got them mixed up and were tiny. The waitress was very blah. Order the choc cake was delicious but sooo small and the soufle was gross. Not worth the money that we forked out! Wont be going back"
