"I went for the first time the other day and I have a lot of bread/Pan de dulce. I came home (I am 5 minutes away) made some coffee for my family (all Mexicans) and myself. we all sat down and ate our pan. all 6 of us agreed that the pan was not fresh and it was hard. the conchas were hard, the maranito and other pans. the empanadas were okay. the cookies were hard. not the freshest brot at all and I was disappointed. it is a beautiful small place and the Pan presentation looks good, but we were all excited to try this new place and, I will not recommend this place and I will stay at el rio market on hampton jefferson for our entire family pan needs."

"This place was excellent! Our party of seven showed up during the lunch hour and we were seated promptly. We have our drink within 5 minutes and they took our order. Food came out within 15 minutes despite the place being packed. Our waiter was greatand got the orders prefect. I had a Reuben with corned beef and I wanted to cry at the first bite. It was delicious! Theothers had breakfast foods, salads, and the veggie melt. Everyone enjoyed the food. I might have given a 4.7 if that werepossible. The front window looked like a brick had been thrown through them at some point and the cardboard taped over it lookedlike it had been there a bit. Definitely recommend this place and hope to return. "The food is good but the service is horrible. The owner has a strange mix of self ordering and a few wait staff. Saturday night it seemed he only had 2 waiters on staff. The 2 tables near us were dissatisfied with the wait as well. The owner just stands around at the front of the restaurant and doesn't help the staff. He should either help out more or hire more staff."
