"I had a wonderful time at The Playwright! We went there after the place we wanted to go to ended up being permanently closed, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Great whiskey list, the old fashioned was perfect. Everything we ate was DELICIOUS. We had Wisconsin spicy cheese curds, the monte cristo and the Johnny jump up burger, then ended with the brown bread ice cream. Nothing disappointed!Parking: There’s a parking garage nearby with 2-hour free parking as long as you get your ticket validated at the restaurant. Just ask your server to validate the ticket for you."

"Been to the park a few times and always wanted to try the restaurant. For my birthday I finally got to go with my husband and another couple to celebrate. First Reservations for outside; they seated us inside. I asked for an outside table. Hostesssaid there would be a wait. Asked her how is there a wait for a reserved outside table?? She seated us outside. I love a greatatmosphere. The scene was spectacular. Outside, people watching, at night downtown city lights!!! Second NONE of the food onthe online dinner menu was an option. They changed the menu but hadn't updated the website. Took me forever to order becausethere were about 3 things from online that I wanted to try. Settled for the short rib. The food was amazing! We all enjoyed ourmeals. But the service Third They brought the men's appetizers out and my friend's entree. Me, the birthday girl had NOfood! The waitress realized I wasn't eating and brought my entree as well. Fourth When the men's entrees were finallydelivered it was taken to the wrong table then sat down at our table where the guy who brought them out turned to walk away. Myhusband stopped him and asked if he was certain they had the right plates. Both ordered steaks but cooked different. The guyreplied with sarcasm This is yours and this is yours as he pointed to the plates in front of them. In his attempt to walk awaymy friend stopped him to tell him he was being rude and they began to argue. He quickly told us he'd get his manager and walkedaway smiling without a care in the world. Which was an indicator to us that he behaved this way often and there were noconsequences for his actions. He wasn't worried. Manager came out also looking as if he didn't care at all. We gave him therun down. He apologized and noticed me and my friend weren't eating. Our plates had been cleared because it took forever for ourhusband's food to come and we had finished ours. Again he apologized and asked if there was anything else he"
