"I went with family who admittedly love the place.I simply could not find its charm.First the service was slow even though we had reserved a large party ahead of time, giving them time to prepare. Some arrachera tacos arrived with almost uncooked meat. Some tortillas were falling apart (this should never happen at a decent taco place much less an "upscale" one). A salad arrived with the lettuce heart still attached inside the bowl. And to top it off some tacos never even made it to one of our party in 2 hours!Not worth it!"

"We went to Bar Mancera on our last night in Mexico City. It was a beautiful inside with wooden paneled walls and beautifully 100 year old (or more) decorated ceilings. The menu is simple but the food was delicious. My husband had their special, fish empanadas, that it would be at home in a Paris eatery. I had a steak. Ever thing was perfect. The staff was very accommodating."

"I am giving them 1 star for charging me twice for the same stay due to their system error. I’ve tried on several instances to get refunded and have been routed to other people to no avail. When I checked in, the hotel staff had told me that I had nothing to worry about and that it has been taken care of, yet nothing was ever resolved."
