"Having initially set out for more traditional dining destinations--places you find in a guide book--we accidentally passed by this place and just ended up being drawn in. It was cozy, charming, and softly lit, with exposed brick and stained walls. The doors were flung open...to the street; good for people watching or listening to the sounds of the city. My kind of place....felt similar to hole-in-the-wall Parisian or Roman cafe/lounges I'd visited. Surprisingly, this place has very good food, and an interesting drink menu as well. As the night wore on, the tiny room filled up, so it seems the locals know and like this establishment. We were glad we stopped here. If we get back to DF, we'd definitely go again."

"Every time i Visit México D.F. I come to this restaurant. I strongly recommend to order a chorizo for an entry and for the main food I would suggest to order a meat called Pulpon . It comes with french fries or a nice salad. I bet you won´t regret."

"My god! men who gave this a 5 or 4 points must have very limited experience with Mexican food or they had only the rotisserie huhn (the couple sitting next to us said it was as dry as the mojave. all our food came tepid. the steak tacs of my friend were obviously made with the sole of an unnoticed shoe. they complained the rest of the night about how you kieved so much from chewing. the salat was so badly devastated that it looks like they pulled him out of the dumpster. the service was slow and to distribute it from the cash was a scary little thing that gave me my change of $74 mex in a $50 bill and 12 $2. to many really fine restaurants near for all who waste their time here."

"El 7 de Julio es un pequeño restaurante en la Colonia Condesa, el lugar es agradable e interesante, yo lo califico asi:Comida 7.8; Servicio 7.5; Ambiente 7.Los platillos bien preparados, con buen toque pero las porciones poco abundantes. La bebida con precios muy competitivos. El servicio un poco descuidado. Valet Parking.En general es bueno pero puede y debe mejorar."
