"Everything was good, we always enjoy our visits. the only reason why it is a 4/5 instead of a 5/5, because I always order my meal without salad. I'm not allergic or something, I just don't like salate. to her credit came the dame that had made my tacos before I even had unwraped the taco to discover that they had laid salat on it. but she brought me a taco without salad when I had ordered two. she said, "I have grounded me and put salat on the tacos, so here is one without. you get three tacos. 'Okay, that was great, but two of them had anointed on them and it's almost impossible to take off. I know I should have mentioned it, but not. I removed most salat from one of the tacos, but when I fought with the third taco, my man went easy and bought me another and ate the one that had still salat."

"Super clean restaurant. Very impressed with the layout. The buffet food was good for the most part, all of the favorites were fresh and good looking on the plate. If they had a little more volume this would be a successful restaurant in this area for sure. Very affordable and decent food. We will be back for sure."

"Ate here three times since theyve opened. Was not impressed during any of those three. Food is hit and miss. Definitely need to figure out how to season. Most everything I've had here has been very bland and unimpressive. No clue why you need a reservation at a Creston Iowa restaurant, but whatever. Good service, nice staff. Overpriced for food quality. Probably won't return."

"We were in town for a funeral this weekend and decided to go to one of the places my mother-in-law liked. We had a very large party and were told that they could accommodate our party. Tables were already rearranged when we got there since some of the party beat us there from the funeral home. Some of the party already had drinks and we asked where they got them from, they said they went straight to the bar, so we did too. The bartender appeared to be having a rough night, but we were too, so it wasn 't a big deal. We got our drinks and went back to our table. My father-in-law wanted a red beer, so my brother-in-law went back and asked for just a glass and a tomato juice. Next thing we know we were getting kicked out. My brother-in-law tried to find out what happened and was accused of being rude and calling a waitress derogatory names. Another patron at the bar, who was not in our party, said that wasn 't true and nothing of the sort was said. I find it funny that after the only two people of color went to the bar and ordered drinks we get kicked out. I was appalled that any place of business would treat such a large party like that. My mother-in-law was always proud to be from a small town community that was so tight knit, and to be treated like that was horrible on such a somber occasion. Needless to say, we took our business to Casa De Oro and they were MORE than willing to accommodate our party and welcome us with hugs and condolences. That 's what my mother-in-law would have been proud of. Most definitely not the disgusting behavior that came from the manager at A&G."

"Goooooood! In Creston for a full-day class I stopped at Casa de Oro for lunch... Avoiding chains is always a goal in a new city. It was very good... the chips were warm, the salsa hot and fresh, and the meal was delicious! Service was super and fast and friendly...definately recomend!"
