"Probably some of the best burgers I have had. And most important, at a huge music festival. We all know how very often the catering at music festivals can be quite expensive, as well as lacking some quality. I was introduced to La Ferme Auberge Gauvry at the media/sponsors lounge. They were catering both the festival-goers, media and sponsors alike. I was astonished by the great quality meat and a piece of delicious fresh bread. Together with the well-dressed burger, I have got some french fries that were very likely double or triple fried. The owners, French, speaking very well in English and always smiling and ready to serve the next customer. Even if it Was hard for them to stand so many hours and meet so many people all the festival days, they have managed to bring their best to each customer, and that for me deserves to mentioned. If I ever visit Bordeaux again, I will make wonders in order to eat another delicious burger."

"We live here and frequently visit Les Tilleuls, either on our own or with family and friends. It is wonderful value for money, 5 courses plus wine for 13 euros. Inside it has basic French character, full of locals particularly after Friday market. The food...is fresh and well cooked and the service is friendly. In summer there are tables in the small square under the shade of the lime trees from which it takes its name, and ideal for children. If you want local colour rather than smart restaurants with overpriced wine lists this is the place."

"Family and country meals were we thinking? It was a festival around duck products (house, everything is home.) a farm, a little lost but very well reported inn - near the smallest village of france : castelmoron d'albret - a pretty rustic room but not "rus-toc" ... a simple and direct welcome and we go to the table. The aperitif is offered and the festival begins: 4 terrines and specialties with foie gras, then 2nd fresh liver dish with apples, 3rd grilled magret dish (or bazadais beef), salad-doodle, gourmet dessert.To help, we can't wait for the nap under the big cherry !! and the addition ? What addition? it was the menu at 29 euros!!! everything is excellent, fresh, beautifully presented, and so good .... a wonder to discover without fault."

"The entrance of the inn, sausage and chorizo, nothing crazy, a false net a little resistant to my taste. we were brought in as we were drinking the aperitif, we were only 2 in the restaurant!!!"
