"I highly recommend this place to anyone who either wants to sit and eat for a while or grab a quick bite. for having only one waitress, the service was exceptional and I never felt like I had to wait long at all. the atmosphere was amazing and calm almost forgetting I was in Courtenay at all. The food was exceptionally quick and tasted absolutely delicious, everything was prepared perfectly. Great food, great location, great service, what’s not to love"

"Rich and flavorful, ramen that is clearly well done the correct Japanese way with locally sourced ingredients. Ive eaten ramen in Japan and this is is the real deal. We will be frequenting this quaint, delicious little place. Don't change a thing! I walked out feeling happier and so satisfied."

"Domo Sushi is one of the best sushi restaurants in the Comox Valley. This place is constantly buzzing with people that are either ordering in or picking up to taking out. I frequently order take out from Domo and have always had positive experiences. My order is read back to me, ensuring that I always receive what I have order, especially with important keys items such as the distinction between wild and farmed salmon (you know you have found a quality place when they actually have the option of wild)! My choice rolls are well made and always withstand the travel home without falling apart (major bonus points!). I have always enjoyed the freshness of the variety of rolls I get from California rolls, Dynamite rolls, Spicy Salmon rolls and wild (sockeye) salmon and masago nigiri. Coming from the city of Vancouver, with its vast choice of sushi restaurant options, I am happy to say that Domo not only compares, but also surpasses quite nicely! Yo go Domo!!"

"Small coffee shop that has really good quality coffee. the killer mocha has the right amount espresso and hot chocolate. turkiscle is like a frappuccino but has much better quality than a dietary frappuccino. would definitely come back to qualitatiw high quality coffee."

"We've been to Sushi Wara several times and always enjoyed it. Today was different. The food was good, but when we went to pay the bill we were informed an 18% tip had been added. I strongly object to this practice. I always leave a tip and the amount I leave is up to me. I do not want to be told how much I'm going to leave. We will not be back again. There are several other good sushi places in the Comox Valley and we will be visiting them in the future."
