"As I passed recently I read a sign on the door announcing the closing of Gigi's. The sign remarked (among other things) that it had been sold to a new owner who was going to open an East Indian restaurant. I wish them well and would look forward to EI food as I enjoy it. That said, since our arrival in Comox 9 years ago, this location has been Helena's, then Thyme on the Sea, then Toto's, then Gigi's and now ?? As I said, I wish them well.Ignore any ratings. One just has to put them in to post."

"I dropped in min-afternoon and met the owner, Jason. He explained the menu to me and I asked for his fave which was "Kiss Kiss Kung Pow" with chicken and prawns added. I thought the $19 price for one takeout was expensive, but my wife and I couldn't finish it all. We found it tasty with a slight lemon and peanut flavour, but would have liked more veggies. As well, the chicken at $3 was good but doubt I'd pay $5 bucks for 5 prawns again.Overall we enjoyed our meal and look forward to visiting again and eating in, especially since they have plans to enclose the patio and have a guitarist playing soon."
