"Good pub atmosphere and decor. We enjoyed dinner here, I had the seasoned wedges which were tasty, could have had a tad more bacon and add the sour cream at end so it didnt curdle but tasted still good. My partner had the ribs which he couldn't fault. Both portions were very generous Food and drinks were also reasonably priced."

"These guys are serious about their oysters. Fuss free self service spot. The hot sauce goes well with the fresh oysters. It’s really hot. The battered oysters are mind blowing, still juicy and just the right amount of salt. You owe it to yourself to visit if you like oysters."

"Typical kiwi pub. Nice food, and good prices. The steamed mussels were really good, the sauce they were in was nice a garlicy. I love garlic and mussels so spot on for me. My partner had the ribs had gave the a 4.5 out of 5 and enjoyed them. Pool, pokies, and lovely staff. The sports memorabilia is interesting. The courtyard area is spacious."

"Love, love, love this place. We discovered Coro pies by accident on one of our trips to Coromandel town. Since that time we HAVE to visit and take some of their amazing pies home to Auckland with us. If you're in the area you won't regret visiting them. I can't recommend any one pie because they're all delicious. Go and visit them, you won't regret it."
