"Second visit and not disappointed. We had a wizards brunch that my son loved on our first visit (especially the opportunity to have his picture taken in the very authentic cupboard under the stairs! and I knew we would have to return as a family due to our love of ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’. The attention to detail and special touches make it really unique. We were warmly greeted and taken care of. Advise to pre-book and order special novelty dishes for particular occasions/to delight children. There is a different theme each month and it’s a wonderful treat (although some may find them pricey I feel worth it for the wow factor and creative themes I have also thoroughly enjoyed smoked salmon bagel from regular menu on both occasions- very fresh and delicious with tasty accompaniments. Really lovely to have somewhere out of the ordinary and whimsical in Colchester. We will be back!"

"Cute little vintage tea room, with lovely, friendly staff.... and the most amazing cream teas! I swear that teapot was bottomless.... The portions were very generous and even my sconeaholic other half couldn't quite manage to finish his! Definitely worth a visit"
