"This is a strange restaurant. The Menu is in GERMAN and Spanish, with English subtitles. The food is GREAT. They have some German dishes as well as Mexican food. I LOVE the Chicken Pibil. It's a large hunk of chicken with some kind of Adobo Red sauce wrapped in a banana leaf. Rich and slightly spicy. Everything anyone with me has ever eaten there has received rave reviews so experiment a little. I like to sit outside on the east side, overlooking the large lake at Coba. If you’re lucky, you might see a crocodile swim by.....Don't go swimming in the lake and avoid the small gift shop just to the north, buy the dock. They tie a dead croc up off the dock then try to charge you to walk out and see it!"

"We did not stay at the hotel but I read that this was a good place to eat from a map on mapchick.com. They do not speak English but have English on the menu. Carne asada tacos were perfect. The lunch we had was fantastic."
