"Excellent service and definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in Sydney. The Two Hat recognition did not disappoint. The best thing is that they're trying new stuff, so not just giving you traditional Italian dishes. My favourite dishes of the night were their wakame ravioli with crispy native salt bush and burnt butter, the marron risotto and the lemon panna cotta with lime sorbet and watermelon granita. The only thing that I would comment is the bread. It was stale and very hard to bite into and the butter was hard and cold and haven't been given enough time for it to soften. Given there are many restaurants out there that start their service with amazing, warm, freshly baked bread and home made butter, it will be good if they could have at least sourced better bread and butter and at least warmed up the bread prior to service. Other than that, everything was great and will come again. Bonus: it's relatively quiet as well"

"Having read the many poor reviews here I wasn't expecting much of this restaurant when my friends decided to go. I deliberately ordered the simplest meal (a Margherita pizza) thinking it'd be hard to stuff that up. It took 50 mins for the food for our table of 15 to arrive but it all came out at the same time. Not that bad given that the place was packed. The pizza base was nice and thin but not at all crispy (except at the edges) and quite floppy. That didn't affect the nice taste though. Everyone was happy with their meal. Wait staff were friendly and efficient. The drinks came quickly. We sat outside on a warm night with a lovely view and appreciated the fans with misters attached. Good - a bit better thsn merely average but not quite 'very good'. I'd go again."

"Hogsbreath is a favourite with us, we cannot fault the new menu, greater selection the service as usual is first class, staff are so friendly and helpful it makes dining there so much more enjoyable, give hogsbreath a try you will not be disappointed.."

"This little restaurant is great and the owner is really friendly, but I think they need to order a few dishes with meat and vegetables between a group and share to really taste the aromes. a kotu roti (sri lanken shredded roti brot shaking with meat and vegetables) is not on the menu and is not always available, but if they ask it quite often, it is a good alternative to naan brot and is super tasty. Maybe if we ask for it, the menu will be added permanently:"

"Service was slow to start, we were seated then left alone, no water, no menus. Then finally we got some water after 10 mins, so we ordered drinks which we checked the menu online, as we took the opportunity while we had waitress attention. The venue was busy, but not enough staff to ratio. We did expect to see the place decorated for Bastille, so it did lack a bit of atmosphere in this way. The restaurant manager did talk a bit too much to the patrons especially when your meal arrived, but some may have liked this interaction. Food was very tasteful, but anything with pastry did come out burnt so you got that bitterness. Overall, we would return."

"The restaurant was highly recommended, but unfortunately, we had a few incidents, which spoilt our visit. One of the group tripped on a traffic bollard at the entry, damaging her shoe. We noticed others arriving, tripping on the same obstruction! Something needs to be done about it before there is a major accident because of it. We were seated inside, on our request, and asked that the ceiling fan above us be turned off. This never happened, although the waitress said she would see to it. Coffees were ordered for each of us, and 3 of the 5 were barely luke warm. Not a good start. No water was brought to the table, despite there being water glasses provided!We ordered our food, and agree that the menu is great, and the meal portions very good. One order was wrong, but we chose to say nothing at the time, but did advise the waitress on paying. No adjustment was offered to the cost! There seemed to be an unusually long wait for our meals, but the food was served and prepared well, and was good."
