"I will start by saying I only venture to Americano once a year. It is a tradition that my husband and I, along with our neighbors, attend the Home and Garden show and then cap our evening off with some juicy burgers. We typically expect a wait as they are usually quite crowded. We were surprised to find that was not the case this time. There were a few other diners. We were immediately greeted by one of the two wait staff on that evening. She prefaced our experience by stating they were short staffed, as is the motto everywhere right now. None the less service was prompt and our server was very nice and attentive. I did notice that their menu had changed quite a bit. Gone were the multitude of burger selections and they had removed my favorite, the rosemary garlic fries. The table ordered two Americano burgers with eggs, fries, onion rings, hot wings and sweet potato fries. Food came out quickly but without napkins or silverware. That took a bit to aquire, but once we tucked in the conversation all but stopped. Everything was so good. I wouldn't call myself a wing specialist, but I've had my fare share. These were some of the best I have ever had! The meat was tender and juicy, the skin was crisp without being hard, and the sauce brought the heat but had tremendous flavor as well. Though I didn't try the burger, the blissfull food coma that my companion fell into was testimony enough. With the glow of a really good meal upon us, we didn't even mention that they forgot the egg on one of the burgers."
