"OK......My wife and I attended college in the days of Mystery Meats and Stuff on a Shingle .......So when we visited our son at X we explected similair culinary fare.......We were overwhelmingly surprised.......I had tomatoe bisque and a clam chowder that was some of the best i ever had. The Salad bar was so fresh I assumed X had an Ag. school. Taco bar, brick oven pizza.....vegan and gluten free selections....We had planned on dining out a few times but I ended up cancelling reservations, saving some dough and eating on campus........The only thing that was missing was a keg of Hudy ........I plan on visiting when my grand kids attend X and will look for the missing keg."

"The Musicians would be better towards the back on Wednesdays. It is far too loud in it's current placement. We can barely hear ourselves talk. Also, there are too few wait staff to accommodate the amount of patrons. Hire more folks and pay them better. They were trying, but could not keep up. Orders were delayed, preferences for food preparation were forgotten and it took us 3 hours to get through appetizers, a main course, and wine. Food was still good, but you need to expand your staff and move the live music to the rear to prevent reviews like these in the future."

"This was for our company holiday luncheon. We made reservations in a timely fashion. When we got there, we received a table that was near the restrooms on a riser. The table and some of the chairs wobbled. I would have thought making reservations in advance would allow for a nicer seating arrangement. Our waiter was not attentive to getting fresh drinks and some of our food was not correct. Another employee that was doing more than his part let us know they were short handed yet somehow he managed to get us additional drinks. This was just not what we were hoping for as our special occasion."

"Absolutely loved this place! First time experience was amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful explaining the menu. Drinks were amazing (huge selection), food was delicious, we ordered the sticky ribs to share and I got the dragon’s breath role (not as intimidating as it sounds). I loved the ambiance! Such a great place to check out for really any occasion. Will definitely be returning."

"York St. Cafe is and has been for a very long time, our go to, my number one for a perfect evening. While we are currently avoiding eating indoors at any restaurant their outdoor patio is the perfect place for a quiet meal that's always delicious. To be perfectly honest, I almost hate to share how much I love it keeping it a secret for us. Go enjoy"
