"I spent 3 lovely days visiting Chinon (12-15 August), and each day would stop here to sample some Chinon Rouge. The young lady that runs La Cabane is knowledgeable, friendly, and was willing to let me use my French. This place is a real treat...I look forward to visiting again."

"We stayed in Chinon for the night and chose Rotisserie Aslan for our dinner and we are so glad we did! We had the kebab menu to takeaway and it was truly delicious, the homemade bread was soft and just perfect with the hot and tasty kebab meat. The bar next to Rotisserie Aslan is excellent also with a great atmosphere, friendly people and dogs are welcome too. We recommend a bottle of red Chinon wine and a Kebab from Rotisserie Aslan, the perfect pairing!"

"Magnifique auberge (oui, le mot est juste, qui vous attend dans la ligne des estaminets d'antan. On vous sert comme on servait dans le temps des "cafés parisiens" : avec les verres en "verre véritables" (c'est-à-dire en des verres comme à la campagne, sans fioritures, sans la marque d'une société de boissons, le verre des grands parents et sans se soucier s'il est digne de la table recouverte de la nappe à carreaux rouges.Bref : à ne pas manquer."
