"There was this horrible phase that coincided with my high school years where people with bad taste and too much money were making fake diners in their McMansions. That's what the decor here feels like, it's all brand new and doesn't feel like a diner at all. The food is legit, though. They are not messing around. The fish and chips is exactly how it should be. The fries aren't out of a bag. They're not cutting corners. Highly recommend."

"Ok....I read one of the previous reviews about the pizza takes some getting used to come on! If that 's what you have to say about it please just admit its kinda on the yuck said. The reason it 's a popular spot is Chester is closed half of the year and the other 2 months its open (see what I did there? nothing is open past 5pm and good luck to you on sundays. I guess any pizza is good pizza if you are super hungry."

"I expected a light lunch today. Your vegan option was a vegan stew today. It turned out to be potatoes, carrots and beets; basically prepares their beef without beef. I had hoped for a little more filling (also some lenses would help! , but it was served with some Julien's bread on the side, which was beautiful. Your menu changes regularly (daily? weekly and judge by the menus on their Instagram, they often have veggie chili and/or a vegan sandwich, so I think that I just happen to come on a day when the menu was not on my taste. I will try this again! The interior is beautiful and trendy. They had oats milk as their non-dairy milk and the server made me happy to a London fog, although it wasn't on their menu (it's the kind of place where their whole menu seems not to be published... . I noticed vegan oats and some school house gluten free cake slices (of which some are vegan, but unfortunately, most of their beautiful baked goods are full of milk. This place is also licensed, with a bar menu, and they have live music on weekends."
