"I've been trying to get to Villa Diner for a long time, but somehow my schedule never permitted. Finally I made it there and it was so worth it. Super welcoming atmosphere, and very Virgina Friendly staff. Virginia friendly means hands down best service ever. It was crowded but I didn't even wait to be seated. All three dishes ordered were seriously cooked to perfection. I really came for the crepes, but I do also like a good eggs Benedict. Villa Diner did not disappoint at"

"Highly recommended. I had the barbecue ribs with cabbage and red beans and rice. Very delicious. Also an ice cold slice of watermelon and lemon meringue pie. One of the best things you can do for yourself is eat at Mel's. The service is exceptional. Our waitress was very attentive and wouldn't let us lift a finger."

"Pretty standard for a diner, nothing spectacular but very reasonable. It wasn’t crowded and we did not have to wait to be seated. The service was friendly. The omelettes do not come with cheese so you have to ask for it to be added and have the choice of American or cheddar."
