"Food was amazing, the hot hamburger will always be the best in world to me. It is difficult to eat inside though. But that is more of a personal thing not a fan of the vintage style. But I think that is more of aesthetic then laziness. If you like home style cooking with the aesthetic of an 1990’s restaurant family owned restaurant this is the place."

"When we arrived at the restaurant, we almost decided to eat elsewhere because of the nondescript exterior, however we had read the positive reviews and we were tired of seafood! The interior of the restaurant was modern and clean. The service was prompt and friendly....Our meals were fantastic. My steak was cooked perfectly. The linguini with chicken was delicious and more than my 15 year old pasta-lover could finish in one sitting. We were very impressed. Would definitely return for another meal!!"

"My family and I have always loved Swiss Chalet In NB and NS. However, the Charlottetown PEI leaves a lot to be desired! Great place to go if you like no service and you get to watch all the waitresses and waiters lean on a counter and chat. While they play with their hair, one waiter dug out his ear wiped it on his pant leg , then served the food to his customers. Not cool! The last time we ate at this restaurant there was very poor service, and the food was, at best, adequate. Thought we would give it another try, really see no improvements. I blame this on the mangers not being trained or caring about the customers . In the future we have decided to spend our time and money elsewhere, and this week we broke the year hiatus with Swiss Chalet. Unfortunately this encounter was no better than the last. Our meal was just so so, with items missing, we had to do head stands just to get our food. . The food we did receive was very poor quality. Swiss Chalet can no longer deliver quality food or service. We will make sure not to spend our money here. We will also pass the word around , do not waste your time. It has become a real dump.Visited on Dec 3 2016"

"Server was wonderful, very friendly. We really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and affordable pricing. Food wasn’t the greatest our chicken was pretty dry. Enjoyed the stuffing though. Would return for a lunch or casual supper."
