"We had a family dinner, so there were nine with the high chair, plus a newborn. We had plenty of space and our waitress was very helpful. The food was great and came pretty fast. My only disappointment was that the appetizer came a minute before the main course. I really hate this and normally will not order an appetizer for this reason!"

"Best sushi place ive ever tried. highly reccomend the Habanero Roll, packed with so much flavors. The plates of teriyaki are huge. they have at door seating. the staff was amazing super kind and we even had 3 people constantly asking how we were doing."

"Just finished lunch and had a wonderful experience. The food was great and the owner and staff made us feel right at home. We have a 10 month old daughter, which means we don’t eat out very often. They made sure we were taken care of and even gave our daughter a special dessert. We found our favorite local spot."

"This is our all time favorite place to eat sushi! My family and I dine here at least once a week! The service is excellent, the wait for a table takes a while sometimes when it's busy, but totally worth it! Our food always gets to our table within 5 to 10 minutes tops. The food is so fresh and the quantity is always ore than enough!"

"Been going here for a few years now and the kill it everytime. Servers are awesome and the chefs do amazing work. They cam get real busy sometimes which will slow down the service a bit but it's well worth any extra wait.Food: 5/5"

"I 've always enjoyed going here when I was stationed out here from 2009-12. This time we actually got up and walked out of a place in downtown San Diego just to go back to this place. I was not impressed this time. Took way to long to be helped when I walked in the door. Then the service just seemed to drag. What should have been maybe a 45 min dinner turned into 1 1/2 hours. I wanted to order more after my 'second wave ' and was almost not allowed. Seemed they needed a little more help or better training for the employees they did have. I hope to one day come back to the Hon I remember."

"Don't waste your time or money. I ordered to pick up tonight and say sadly that this was the third time in a row that I was dropped. Real crab California roll was like old crabs fish. Hamachi hard and fishy. Even they seaped it to try and mask how old the fish was. HORRIBLE!!! Don't waste your money. I'm not back."

"In from out of state, chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday because of the reviews on Open Table. Wanted sushi for dinner. Food and service were excellent! It's a bit of a construction zone outside the restaurant, but don't let that deter you. Great sushi, wonderful people!"

"Let's start off by giving the sushi chef, Hu major credit for how attentive and quick he was! The place looks super modern and well maintained. We got seated very quickly, at the sushi bar. We ordered 4-5 sushi rolls/tempura and they were all phenomenal! The presentation, the flavor, the texture! It was near damn perfect! The parking was a breeze. I would highly recommend trying this restaurant out if you haven't already! Definitely will be going back."
