"This place is cash only, so don't be caught off guard! I believe there is an ATM inside the restaurant. The food is classic San Diego Mexican food, with huge portions, and the drive thru that seems almost mandatory. Personally I just go through the drive thru because The place seems small. The food is cheap, the employees are all really cool, and filled up my reusable water bottle for me, and were very friendly even when I changed my order at the window. (Sorry about that! Absolutely worth it, if you're starving this place hits the spot."

"It's changed. You no longer sit in the comfortable area it is bar and terrace bar only. The waiter was extremely friendly. However, the food was not a bowl Chicken Sald was 90% cabbage the Vinaiigrette Dressing was vinegar. The chorizo and egg plate was terrible and my Mr is not one to complain, it was sour with tomatoes and green onions in it. The beans are obviously from a can. This use to be our hangout, but the last two times were pure disappointment."

"Found this in a random Google maps search for Mexican food. The could as the most authentic I've had outside of my extensive travels in Mexico. The only thing rivaling the entree's are the baked goods... And incredible variety and they move out the door at a rapid pace."

"If you want authentic Mexican food with authentic ingredients, you need to eat where Mexicans eat.... You have to try Tony's fresh Mexican food. The season is perfect! Your drinks are super refreshing and not too sweet as other places. You can try the ingredients: water sugar and leaves no preservatives. The shrimp, so Jumbo, freshly cook before you everything is perfectly seasoned and so is the meat, perfectly cook, the meat juicy and delicate make them all a fiesta in your mouth. Look at the picture of my plate."

"The original is still the best. All of the knock offs try hard, but they can’t hold an enchilada to Alberto’s. We had some outstanding rolled tacos, delicious burritos—served with a smile. Easy parking, good location and decent prices are here at the original Alberto’s."

"Says it?s open 24 hrs. Went to go get food, sign outside says open. Worker was rude and aggressively said we?re closed and shut the door in my face. Even though the door was unlocked and open, then locked it on me. Terrible service at night. Maybe take down the sign outside that says open if you are closed. Just a suggestion. I called soon after and the worker says that only drive through is open at night after I already walked there. I asked him how I?m supposed to know that, and he said I should have asked? This place is alright during the day, just overpriced, and the line times are terrible. There were no cars or anyone else there, so I don?t understand why they couldn?t have just taken my order through the drive through if the dine in is ?apparently closed.? The two workers were just sitting there chatting. In my opinion I just think they didn?t feel like serving me. The staff is never kind as well. I?m not sure if I just go at the wrong times but I don?t have good experiences with this place. The only good thing about this place is the potato tacos. I would suggest hiring more friendly staff because the customer service is currently terrible. I also work at a dine in and drive through place, if someone doesn?t have a car and we closed the dine already we serve them through the window. It?s common decency, work on your customer service. This was on 9/29 at about 1-2 in the morning."

"Beautifully clean and crisp. has a space in the free as well as a large bar area. they must either call or enter their name as soon as the location fills up quickly. eating was quite decent, although not as tasteful as I would like. and the house margaritas will do the trick if they were out of something classic with a stroke."
